IAPMEI Certification

At the moment we already have the SME certification, an important recognition for a company that has recently started its activity. This is thus the first step towards ISO 9001 quality certification.

The SME Certification is a service that, exclusively electronically. It attests compliance with the criteria of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises by national companies.

It is aimed at micro, small and medium-sized companies wishing to prove that they have this statute and entities from the Public Administration, or with which it is filed, which are required to require proof of SME status for the purpose of administrative procedures (attribution of support or other forms of positive discrimination against micro, small or medium-sized companies).

The certification is fully carried out online, on the IAPMEI website, through the online services area, without the delivery of any documentation.

To make sure, companies provide the information necessary to determine the status and submit it on the website.

This results in the granting of a micro, small or medium-sized company status that takes effect immediately.

This statute is immediately liable to be viewed online by the certifying company and also by any entity required to require proof of SME status for the purposes of administrative procedures, this view being sufficient (and necessary) as proof of SME.
